Shamus is husband to his beautiful wife Cherri. They have 3 boys, Collin, Reid and Ethan, along with a Springer Spaniel named Remy.
Born on Grosse Ile Michigan, Shamus grew up in a creative home. He quickly learned he would not be following in his fathers footsteps as a doctor. Instead, he would follow the creative passions of his Mom (a award winning stained glass artist) as a graphic designer. He joins his other two brothers who have also pursued successful careers in the arts. Michael Shamus, an award winning videographer, and Greg Shamus, a accredited professional sports photographer.
Although pursuing a successful career as a free lance graphic designer is important, it is Shamus' faith that has found first place in his heart. At 38 years old, Shamus committed his life to Jesus Christ. He is determined to glorify God through his freelance business and honor Him with everything he has. Shamus and his family are members of Valley Family Church of Kalamazoo and are excited about the opportunities they have been give to serve God through this amazing ministry.
He is currently enrolled in the Epic School of Ministry with his wife Cherri. They both are excited as they become better equipped to serve God and lead their family.
